SeaPort-e

SeaPort-enhanced (SeaPort-e) is the Navy's electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, Military Sealift Command, and the United States Marine Corps compete their service requirements amongst 2400+ SeaPort-e Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) holders. The SeaPort-e portal provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from amongst the diverse population of large and small businesses. All task orders are competitively solicited, awarded and managed using the SeaPort-e platform.

Artisan Electronics is one of the 2400+ prime contractors to receive a SeaPort-e IDIQ MAC contract.  Of the 22 functional areas in the SeaPort-e prime contracts, Artisan Electronics, a small business, has a vast amount of expertise in half of those areas.  Artisan Electronics will provide services in response to task orders issued under our prime contract.  In addition, Artisan Electronics has 20 team members that we can reach out to in providing the best support to our customers.  Artisan Electronics is a team member to many of these contractors and, as such, may be utilized as a subcontractor on their prime contract.

SeaPort NxG

SeaPort Next Generation (NxG) is NAVSEA’s follow-on contract to the SeaPort-e contracts, which expire in 2019.  There are some changes with the NxG contract in that NAVAIR will not be a user of the SeaPort NxG contract and functional areas have been changed to reflect two main categories with 23 subcategories. The SeaPort NxG contracts will now be the Navy’s platform for acquiring services in these categories.  The Naval Sea Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Office of Naval Research, and the United States Marine Corps will compete their requirements amongst the 1870 SeaPort NxG Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) holders.

Artisan has been awarded a NAVSEA HQ SeaPort NxG contract for services as a prime contract holder. The contract is effective January 2, 2019.  This allows Artisan Electronics to continue to compete for DoD requirements and continue to provide exceptional services to DoD in response to task orders issued under our prime contract.  Artisan Electronics has 22 team members that may be utilized as subcontractors under our SeaPort NxG contract.  Artisan Electronics is a team member to most of these contractors and may be utilized as a subcontractor on their prime contract. 

Seaport NxG Contract Information

Artisan Electronics’ contract is a five-year base period with one five-year option period for a potential total of ten years period of performance.  The base period ceiling is $5 billion (U.S.) as well as the option period for a total ceiling of $10 billion (U.S.). 

Task Orders are Cost Reimbursement (CR) or Fixed Price (FP).
